Details

The compact surge arresters of the DEHNguard TT 5 275 series are a supplement to the proven DEHNguard M product family for applications with reduced technical parameters.
Due to the space-saving design the DEHNguard TT ... 5 275 is particularly suitable for retrofitting existing installations and for narrow applications. So the devices are ideally suited for protecting individual system parts (e.g. lighting systems or pumps). For a multi-phase circuit e.g. in TT systems (3+1) the arrester only has a width of two modules. An easy and cost-effective installation of the surge protection also is provided as no backup fuse is required up to 63 A.
Safety relevant features of the DEHNguard series, however, have been taken into account. The DEHNguard 5 kA devices also provide the "Thermo Dynamic Control“ SPD monitoring which fulfills the high safety requirements for a surge arrester.
The dual "Thermo Dynamic Control" monitoring device was not only developed on the basis of national and international standards, but also stands for experience of decades in the whole market of surge protective devices and considers many practical applications where arresters might be damaged.
The surge arrester status is reliably indicated to the user by the standard mechanical operating state / fault indication.
With the devices of the DEHNguard TT 5 275 series the user thus has optimally suitable devices for retrofitting, narrow applications and reduced technical requirements.
